T Mobile UK seem to be having problems with this phone, they have
recalled some phones that they had sold. Some web retailers have
withdrawn it and people in the business have said that early ones had
problems and were recalled. Later batches with different packaging are
said to be problem free. Can anyone out there add more to this story?
The phone looks and feels great but does it work OK?

Not from what you've given us, no. A quick Copernic search for "z600
recall" has hit nothing, so unless you have some early insider scoop I'm
afraid your post comes across somewhat trollish.
If what you've heard comes from another source, even if it's "some bloke
down the pub", at least have the courtesy to cite it.
Sony Ericsson did have a problem with some Delta manufactured CST-13
chargers, as used on the T68i, Z600 et al. Perhaps you're getting
confused with this?

Re: Z600, recalled?
My own phone was recalled after I bought it and was not replaced.
www.ericsson-mobilephones.com have a notice on their web page that it
is recalled in connection with Tmobile. Vodafone shop staff say that
is not yet sorted for them to sell (believe or not, whatever), phones
4U shop staff claim that the early batch were faulty and they have the
later batch, the packaging is different so this could well be true.
TMobile shop staff claim they cannot get any.
I cannot be more specific at this time but I was fishing for people
who may have had similar problems to support my own case.
My phone, while I had it, looked and felt great but didnt work.

Where on that site, or have I just fallen for an advert-spammer? I should
point out that that is not an official site anyway.

Apologies! wrong web site here is the correct site.
http://www.ericssonmobilephoneclub.c...sson_Z600.html
However in getting this web address I discovered the notice, (which
was very small) has now been removed. Fortunately I made a hard copy
when it was on view.
