T610 remove Vodafone crap?

Hi
I have a original ericsson dongle and cable and prog and access server
wwhere you get the firmware to the phones. I tried to replace the Vodafone
firmware in my t610 but it wasn't possible. I got a message that that I
don't remeber exactly. But it was something about that this is a vodafone
branded phone. The only firmware I gould program the phone with was
Vodafones I think it was ver R1D that was the latest.Are ther any
possibility for me to remove the Vodafone crap. How should I procced to be
able to program the phone with SE original firmware?

Which dongle exactly? DIV, Terminator, Griffin (CRD), Twister etc?

You need to flash the phone and reset GDFS - this is the only way to totally
get rid of all the Voda branding.

If you've got access to Emma, you should have already received full training
from SonyEricsson. I shouldn't imagine there are many posters here with
access to original SE equipment, so I can't help you on that point.

GDFS is basically the Eeprom of the phone and contains (amongst of things)
customisation, user data etc. This needs resetting to standard values.
Quite how you'll go about doing that using Emma, I'm afraid I have no idea.
