What sound files can the T610 handle? Anything else than mid-files?

    Thanks

AMR files, which is the format for T610 sound files. You can get an
application to convert WAV to AMR and vice versa. See:

    1. I tried converting a wav to various other formats a while back, and all
of the software I tried (I just tried "Miksoft" something now), and they
    always say I don't have a 16 bit-mono-whatever wav file.

    2. I downloaded one from SE, which I think is the one you referenced, and it
won't open. Is there a trick to installing it?

    thanks.

You need to create a correct WAV file. Windows Sound Recorder won't do it, so
    you'll need something better.

No, just decompress, and run from the command line.

Any suggested programs? I tried using several free programs to convert it
to MP3 and then back to wav again (slight quality loss, but the file keeps
getting larger), and still no luck.

Clicking the exe file regular-like won't work?

I used the audio editor in Ulead MediaStudio successfully. I'm sure that many
other programs (e.g., the audio editor in Nero) would work as well.

Definitely not -- you need the correct command line arguments. The easy way
to do that is to use the version with the GUI.

....i.e. the version I linked to in my original reply ;-)

I can't figure out how to download it. I went to the wap page (not
expecting it to work), it let me enter the code, then it brings me to a page
with 5 links to other stuff but no file.
