I use an HBH-65 bluetooth headset with a T-28 Worldphone and DBA-10 adapter
on the T-Mobile network. I also have voice dialing enabled.

Until recently, when I received a call from someone who I have voice
labeled, I would hear the ID in the earpiece before it would ring. For
example, I can voice dial home by saying "Home." Likewise, when I receive a
call from home, I would hear the word "Home" in the earpiece before it would
ring. That way I would know who was calling before I answered it.

This voice ID feature has now stopped working on incoming calls. All I hear
is the ringing without the voice label that used to precede the ring.

The only thing that has changed recently is that I upgraded my SIM card from
    T-Mobile.

Anybody know how I might fix this? I tried re-recording the voice labels,
but that did not solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can suggest is having a look through the menus - I know on
my T630 there's definitely an option to decide whether or not you want the
name to be played for incoming calls - it's a separate option from enabling
voice dialling, but in a nearby menu. I'd have thought the T28 has the same
option. It's possible that the updated SIM could have reset this option.

Let us know how you get on.

    Kind regards,

    Alan

Thanks. But there's no such option on this phone. Still a mystery.
