You said SMS? That's text, MMS is photo messages.

I'm having the same problem. Have been getting adverts for an internet site
and they are appearing on my O2 bill at £1.27 each.

I have contacted O2 and await a response. I have also contacted ICTIS to
report the short code that is sending them.

In addition to this, if anyone has had an advert (via sms or mms) asking if
they want to participate in an Auction for a Nokia phone, do not reply to
this, just delete it! However, if you have replied with a yes and still
keep getting messages from them (at £1.27 a throw!), email
[email protected] and they will delete your number from their database.

I thought so too, but it seems some are getting away with it somehow - i am
disputing the charges with my providor as there's no way I'm paying to
    receive adverts!!

Yeah I know what you mean. It's bloody ridiculas that people can send
adverts to you and charge you for them. I have given O2 the shortcode and
ask them to barr or block all meesages from the number. Just waiting for a
reply. Dout they will do anything about it though.

about "Re: Premium Text Messages?", to which I would like to add the

    Damned right!!!!!!! Also:

    >> email [email protected] and they will delete your number from their
    >> database.

I can think of some other things I'd like to do with their database. Or
    buildings. Or staff.

Print out every damned message, tie it to a rock and let them have it back
    through the window for starters.

    Cheers,
