    phone companys locking MY phone that i paid for with MY money is just
    wrong, so i have no problem at all with using some kind of crack. i bought
    2 t68i's and they are both now useless and att refuses to unlock my phone.
    cAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

    Look in Yellow Pages, there are plenty of firms that will do it for
    £10->£30. I live in Maidenhead and founf a young lad in one of our Asian
    shops who does it while you wait.

    phone companies lock your phone because you don't want to pay the full
    price for it and they want to be sure that their investment in your
    phone brings them enough money to continue this sponsorship.

    The OP did refer to 'att' aka AT&T Wireless, so I guess he's in the
    USofA. But he should still be able to find a dealer with unlocking
    facilities.
