You are obvisously not understanding the difference between unlock and open.
A screwdriver has nothing to do with the principals of unlocking a T610
although you _MIGHT_ need one in some cases.

All sim-locked phones are locked with the help of a code, so you can
unlock them aswell, with the very same code.
