Ive come across from Nokia (yes, I know) anyway, Ive discovered when the
phone is ringing (audibly) there is no way to silence the ring - without
hanging up on the person.
My 6230 had a silence button which would shut it up, without letting the
person know you hung up.
Does this phone not have this option? Can it be upgraded in firmware? Who
should I complain to?

You can also press the volumen keys, on the side of the phone. It is
in the manual :-)
