Hi All,
I´ve got a P910i, and installed the PC sync station (3.1.1 - latest
version from siny-ericsson site) on my PC with Win XP.
When i connect the phone, the flash-thing is connecting, and it tells me
there is a connection via USB. However, the phone itself is not
recognized or seen anywhere within the sync applications.
On my laptop, i use the bluetooth connection, and no problems there.
Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Rene

It might be a conflict with the Com Port that the Sync Staion is set at.
Check that nothing else is trying to access the same Com Port or change the
Com port setting to one that your computer is shown as not in use.

Re: P910i sync station - phone not recognized
There is a lot of problem with connecting P900/p910 to computer.
I have lost lots of hours trying to solve problem and I have read a lot of
solutions/advice on the net.
My solution is to find the setting that works, and then do not touch it
anymore, but when I want to sync I unplugged and then replugged the USB
cable (to computer). and then it sync without problem.
You can try it for your self.

I have had no problems syncing my P910i. Both at home and at work.
Try the following -
1. Do youi have admin rights as it needs to access program files etc. May be
a possible problem look at security on each program folder that uses PC sync
and make sure that you have full permissions.
2. I seem to remeber when installing it you needed to ensure that the
firewall did not block the connection. TGry disabling the firewall and
trying it agian. This assumes that you have enabled the firewall.
Good luck

Re: P910i sync station - phone not recognized
Hi,
It probably had something to do this XP-SP2.
Stopping the firewall seems to do the trick, but not all consequently as
it seems.
Stopping firewall, and dis- & reconnecting USB port looks the best way.
Thanks,
Rene
