Any experience buying a replacement battery for a T68? I see a large
price difference at one online store between a supposed 'factory'
battery and an 'after market' battery - $70 vs $25(~700 mah) ???

Sounds about right. The after market batteries work after a fashion, but
bear in mind that I have never seen a clone battery that authenticates
correctly - so it'll take longer to charge, and you won't be able to rell
reliably how much charge is left in it. Shop around, but be careful. There
are plenty of idiots out there selling supposed "Genuine" batteries, that
are in fact very poor quality clones.

Here's a sort-of halfway point:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg.../-/B0000A41F1/
Sanyo-brand battery for your phone at Circuit City/Amazon for $50. Sanyo
makes good batteries for sure. Order from Amazon with free shipping and no
sales tax. Get it faster from CC though and have an easier way to return if
it sucks.
Or $60 for genuine:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg.../-/B0000AKAMY/
OR a generic battery for $13:
http://www.cellphoneshop.net/noname272.html
$5 shipping though. But even if it doesn't work, you've probably been
bilked for well over $18 for cell phone stuff before.
