hello

i got a t610 monday, v nice phone - went in tuesday to get one for the
misses (who wouldnt leave mine alone!) and it had vodafone branding on the
case which is fine as it makes it easier to tell the difference between the
two of them but the new one also has the most awful icon menus, background
branding and what appears to be an older os version - you hold down the 'c'
and you get asked if you want silent on rather than just doing it!

i have seen some software sites that claim you can flash using their
software - is this safe, possible, legal warranty voiding action?

any info or pointers in the the rignt direction would greatly appreciated
