I can get one on O2 for £50 (£25 with trade in) so I'll offer £40....

Well you got to pay money to use the phone to make calls and text neways so
why not get the phone cheaper for the privelige of using that service? Get
MS Excel out and put a spreadsheet together and you'll see contracts make
sense.

Not really sure what you're trying to say. I advertise a Pay as you go
phone, you make an offer based on the price you can get it for on an O2
contract, there is no comparison. You buy a PAYG phone and its yours, just
pay for airtime you use, get this phone on an O2 contract, pay them £50 and
then something like £25-£30 a month, somewhat of a difference I think you'll
find.

My T610 was free and i only pay £15pm (Leisure time tariff), so 12x£15=
£180.
