Having finally decided to switch from Nokia was very disappointed with the
s/e backup software in comparison to nokia datasuite i.e you can edit your
phonebook / phone settings via the cable or bluetooth direct from pc nokia
also allows you to backup or your settings. you can also copy the phone
content not just your phonebook. I have tried chistersson phonebackup vers
1.4.4 but it doesn't appear to work with T610.

Can someone recommend any backup and phone editing software to work with the
T610. Note I am using the serial cable I do do not have Ir or bluetooth

    thanks for your help

    Hi Paul,

I agree - the SE software doesn't rate well at all. I find the Contact
+ SMS management directly from the PC useful.

    You could try FMA from http://clubsonyericsson.com. It's a stand-alone
freeware util. You'll prob. need the mobile phone monitor installed
for FMA to recognise your phone.

It worked fairly well with transferring SMS on my T610 via infrared
but doesn't yet support reading SIM/Phone contacts

Let me know how it works for you.

It works for me !! - I used the above with my T610 and was able to read,
edit and then resend my phone contacts
