Anyone else have this problem? If I have a JPEG or whatever, even if I
resize it to a tiny size (like 2kb), it still comes up huge on the phone
(like 40kb). Even when taking photos on the "small" setting, they come up
huge. I originally wanted to put about 20 photos on my phone permanently at
about 2-3kb each, but at 40kb each it's impossible! Anyone know any
    concrete info about this?

    Pasted from news:[email protected] :

T610 stores pictures in RAW format on the phone to save processing time in
(de)compressing them. It was the same with the T68(i). Just one of those
    things I'm afraid.

Bugger. I just find it bizarre, because they show up as the right filesize
when browsing with bluetooth, and I can copy them back fine, how does it do
    all that on the fly?

Also I remember one time adding up what the file size should have been, and
even as a RAW file it was less than what it ended up as being on the
    phone... very strange.

Maybe it stores an uncompressed file in addition to the original compressed
    version.
