Hi,
Is there any way to switch of the flashing blue and green LED's on my T68m?
When the phone is stuck to my dashboard and I'm driving at night its a pain
in the backside.
The blue one makes me think there's a copper along side!

Don't know about the green one, but you could try turning Bluetooth off,
that should turn the blue LED off.

Re: Stop my flashing LED?
Buy a batterychager for in-car use and connect your T68 to it to stop
the green LED blinking. The LED will be on but not blinking. The BLUE
LED however is more simlpe to turn off: Just turn the BLUEtooth
service off.

Not if you need to use a Bluetooth headset.
In practice, a little tape over the LED would probably do the trick.

You can ask your wife/GF/mother to knit a nice little cap for your phone.

Hi,
Hmm, I thinks this is a big shortfall in the T68.
As whytoi stated, I am using the bt headset and the LED is a pain in the
arse!
Also, I find some of the menus a bit stupid, there seems to be no logical
way of saving a missed callers number to the address book!
Other things I find annoying too, I have been a regular Nokia user and
thought I would try the T68i as it looks great and is fully supported by my
G4 Mac, however, I have never used such a slow phone! It takes forever to
respond to keypresses so much so that if I mistakenly press dial by the time
the kill signal has gone to the phone the receiver has already had the
'missed' call!
Such a shame!

T610 is the answer. Or the Z600 which is coming to market.

Add new contact (or Edit contact), chose number, joystick left leads
you to calling list, chose number, click, there you are.

More bloody money to Eric & Son, no fear....

Good luck trying to get your Nokia to work with Bluetooth then - seeing as
Nokia seem to have a aversion to:- a. Implementing it in the first place.
b. Actually following any known conventions.

Re: Stop my flashing LED?
or you can just buy a $20 leather phone cover and then no more flashing
lights in your face.
