Think the root cause of my current problems with the Ericsson Communications
Suite and XTNDConnect PC are because I'm not getting a Serial service
showing when I interrogate my T39 from XTNDConnect Blue Manager v3.0
(running on Win98SE). All I get is Dial Up Networking and Generic Networking
services being displayed. (In the same situation, a Siemens S55 *does* show
a Serial service -- amongst many others.)

A Bluetooth Serial Port has been set up, seemingly successfully, during
    installation.

Strikes me that it's an issue at the phone end. Anyone agree? And if so,
what can I do about it? Phone firmware is R4Axxx.

Have e-mailed Ericsson UK "Support", by the way -- no reply.

    TIA.

what bluetooth driver do you use? Widcom? look for settings in the driver
"look for device and configure how computer use it service" or something
that affect it will search and when t39 show up choose that and click next
and tick all the service you want to install....

btw i didnt think win98 and bluetooth is posible even with third party
driver its handling of the com ports is just horrible.
