Greetings,
I have a Plantronics BT headset for use with my SE T68i phone that has begun
to give me unexpected results when answering calls. If I place a call from
the handset, the headset kicks in and everything works as you might expect.
However, when receiving calls the headset "rings" but tapping the button on
the headset will not answer the call. Furthermore, hitting the Yes button on
the SE T68i answers the call but the audio is NOT transmitted to the
headset!! I have no idea as to why this is happening. If the phone is idle
and I press the button on the headset the phone responds with a "Plantronics
Headset Connected" message. The phone and the headset seem to pair just
fine. I noticed that recently when the pairing the 2 devices the phone no
longer switches to the Port H-Free Profile. I seem to remember that it used
to do this when the BT headset was paired with the phone, but I honestly
can't remember for sure.
Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks
TC

Hmmm.
[1] Check menu option Bluetooth|Options|Handsfree Sound is set to 'Always in
Headset'
[2] When you 'tap' the button to accept the incoming call, do you hear a
beep? This headset always gives a beep to indicate a button was pressed.
T68i software R6A is very unreliable, I know that all is good with R8A!

Thanks, this wasn't the problem but I wasn't aware of this option so I
appreciate you pointing it out.
I don't know what it was that fixed the problem, I did reset all the
profiles and after re-pairing with the phone it seems to work now.
Wierd.....
