And what *exactly* has a Hong Kong review site got to do with the fact that
I have just purchased one from a retail outlet in the UK???

It has to do with the fact that hes got a personal review of the phone along
with pictures to compare it to the t610 that he very
much likes. Along with alot of people in here who like it and have seen the
z600 as well... What hasnt it got to do with opinions on
    the phone?

Well, the crux of my post was that they were actually available in the UK,
the bit about the "let you know how I get on" was more a footnote, rather
than a statement of a full review!

I genuinely feel sorry for the guy who's bid £360 for one on an ebay auction
not ending till Monday. I wonder if he's going to be a NPB or will pay up.
    What would you do?

I've got nothing against ebay or those who use it, but a few of the
people who bid on there get caught in the "auction mentality" and bid
way more than an item is worth -- and still think they got a bargain.

My favourite example was when the last Harry Potter book was released
here. On ebay it was going for anything upwards of 50%-100% above the
retail price you found in several stores. After postage you've gotta
wonder how much these people enjoyed their deal.

So is it silver on both sides and you can change
it to blue on both sides? Doesnt the blue one come
    with the stripey fascia?

    What is the phone like?

Does it feel too thick? I REALLY want one but I am unsure
about the size, don't want it feely too bulky in my pocket.

No a complete silver set and a complete black set..though I suppose you
    could mix and match!

Functionally, it's almost identical to the T610 but with a better display
    and an active flip

It's 8mm thicker than a T610...probably about the same thickness as a Sharp
GX10 or Panasonic GD87. I much prefer flip phones, so it was a moot point
for me, but I've had it in my jeans pocket all day without any problems.

It's probably a wee bit too big to put in a shirt pocket (though I'll
confirm this on my return to work), but should be fine in a jacket.

Well, he's a bit of a plonker then 'cos I found loads on a "buy now" offer
of £295 and one at £268
