Hi,
I just bought [an excellent] P900 in the UK, loaded the software onto my PC
[running XP and Norton Internet Security, with firewall], connected the USB
cradle - which was recognised by the computer - but got no reaction when I
put the phone into the cradle. I therefore tried connecting using infra-red,
again the computer recognised an infra-red device, but the software does not
recognise that the phone has been connected.
Any ideas, please?
Regards, Nigel

Try truning the firewall off.

I would recommend uninstalling the software on the CD and using the latest
version at http://www.sonyericsson/downloads/PC...l_2.0.1_EN.exe
I found the version on the CD crashed my P900. My P900 works fine
with this using my XP PC.
