T68i and synch outlook

yes, the old question popped up again :
why does'nt the synch work on my pc and t68i?
the error i get is because the computer doesn't find the phone. nevertheless
i can make connection between pc and phone using ird (infrared). i'm using
win XP.
i installed xtndconnect pc.

please someone?
