    When I'm on a call with the above combination the other party suffers from
    really bad echo - they can hear everything they say repeated.

    I've exchange the headset already once and had the handset upgraded to a
    newer firmware with I think is R1L013 (is this the latest??) but with no
    success.

    Anyone else had/heard of this problem

    Does this happen everywhere, or is it confined to a particular place or
    building.

    If the latter then it is likely to be a BTS fault where the echo
    cancellers are not switched in correctly.

    Everywhere. I'm presuming it's a handset fault.
