T610 / 630 - differences?

Hi there,

I am thinking of upgrading my T68i (great design - ****ty reception!) to the
T610 hoping that I won't have the dreaded No Access message and actually be
able to make & receive calls at any time. It will also be much improved in
the car kit utilising an external antenna

However I see references to the T630 due shortly and wondered if it will be
worth the wait?

Does anyone know what the differences are between the T610 and the T630?

Is there anywhere I can compare them?

Does anyone know when it is due out?

I guess Orange won't have it right away as they have to 'fully test the
phone to make sure it performs well'...yeah...right...how come the T68i
slipped through the net then? ;^)

Well, there is some information for the T630 at the new-look
www.sonyericsson.com although not as in-depth as the details available for
the T610. The obvious difference is a "High resolution TFT screen" on the
T630.

AFAIK the only differences are:

-T630 has a better display (TFT instead of LCD, should be better readable in
sunlight)
-Integrated Instant Messenger (ICQ, ...)
-Different design
-Minor software changes

The hardware inside should be equal to the T610's one, so maybe you could
just flash your T610 to an "T610i"/"T630 with T610 look".
