I have bought a Sony P800 and am having some difficulty in getting it
to work reliably. Bonding is no problem and the phone shows by LED &
message that bluetooth is on & connected. The phone responds to an
incoming call by ringing the BT200. However, pressing the phone button
on the headset does not accept the call. As of yet, I can not reliably
make a call either. I hear nothing in the headset when dialling out,
or when the phone is ringing the recipient. I wonder if anyone has
some tips that you can share with me to get this up and running. All
firmware etc is up to date, and the Jabra works fine when I transfer
it back to a Nokia 6310.

    Regards

    Bob

I've solved the problem!!...after a week of despair! It turns out that
the P800 only likes to be discovered when the BT200 is set to
discovery with the phone button only. I've was so used to the Nokia's
special features and holding the volume button down during pairing
that I assumed the same would apply for other makes...apparently not.
The main difference is that to receive a call you have to press the
headsets' button to accept it. Apart from that voice dialling works
well, and the quality as before is excellent. I've yet to turn
everything off and back on again to see if it still works, so watch
    this space.
