Hello.
I've just got a T610 here in the UK and have a couple of questions :-
1.) How do I upload ringtones and java games to my mobile once I have
downloaded them from a T610 website ?
2.) When recording your own sounds, the volume is very low. Is there any
way around this ?
Regards

You will need a Datacable, IRDA Port or Bluetooth on your PC. Then you can
transfer the stuff via Cable/IRDA/Bluetooth and eventually an Application of
your choice (e.g. Floats Mobil Agent http://eflame.com/fma/
https://sourceforge.net/projects/fma/) or with your System Tools (Bluetooth
Software/Windows Explorer Integration) to your mobile phone.

dunno
You might copy it to your PC and edit it in a sound editor...

Re: T610 questions
Hello.
Sorry for being thick here but how do I transfer the data via say the IRDA
port on my portable ? I've installed the sync software but that is just for
addresses etc.

Let's assume you get a bluetooth dongle for your PC. This would seem to be
the most logical choice, since the data cable won't let you copy pictures to
your computer for some bizarre reason (or that's what they said in the store
where I bought my cell anyway).
You install the dongle according to the instructions, I got the Bluetake
Poke2 BT009 dongle, which small and looks cool in an extruded aluminium
cover, and works fine for me. It was cheap too. Activate bluetooth in your
cell, optionally re-name it to whatever you like, and set it to search for
other bluetooth devices. It should find your PC if it is in range. Enter a
pairing key code (could be anything, but should best be something easy to
remember), then enter the same key code on the PC in the window that should
have appeared there. Congratulations, you have now paired the cell and your
PC!
To copy stuff to your cell, now all you gotta do is browse to the catalog
where you saved the java programs or ringtones. Right-click the file and
choose the "Send to" sub-menu, then bluetooth, then your cell. The cell
should receive the file and place it in the right folder automatically,
ready for you to use.

Umm, talk louder into the cell's microphone? (Or at least move it closer
to the sound source.)

Assuming you are using standard Windows IR:
Right-click the file in question, then Send to>Infrared Recipient...
Hope this helps,

I beleive this is due to a bug in the firmware which replays
recordings at the sound level for you to listening to the mobile with
it directly at your ear, rather than outputting it through the phone's
loud speaker. I'm told this is fixed in the new firmware version R3C.
You can get your phone upgraded at a Sony Ericsson service centre.

Where can I find the nearest service centre to me? My T300's got a slight
problem with it's volume slider that I need to get looked at. Before I sell
it LOL
