    Any rules on Ringtones ? I have a few Midi files but they wont send,
    well wont be receive buy the phone, wondering if there the right type
    or need changing.

    Ericsson T68 accepts ring tones in two specific formats,

    thanks for that, when I try and send them to my T68i i get a message
    from the computer bluetooth saying FTP service not found on target
    device, is there any other way of putting them on the phone ?

    sorted, i have to move them to the bluetooth folder, but they don't
    sound right at all, totally wrong , oh bugger

    well i used an on line converter maybe that didn't work , any tidy
    converters about ?

    I used to use a program called MelodyComposer with varying degrees of
    success. I think it was from http://www.christersson.org or
    http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/ , but neither of those sites is working for
    me at the moment.

    Generally these sorts of programs have trouble converting ringtones between
    formats. I'm not sure why, but the majority of Nokia ringtones I converted
    just didn't keep their tempo, note length or even pitch.

    IMHO, it's best to just use ringtones designed for SE phones. I don't have
    sites on-hand, but in the ringtones forum at http://www.esato.com/ there's
    always lots to download.
