Actually, I switch to Fido for their good customer service... I got
tired of being dicked around by Telus, Bell and Rogers...
I've been with them (Fido) for years now and have never had a complaint.

They occasionally do make a mistake (I only remember one small one) as
all companies do, but they have always "fixed" it as quickly as I could
    possible expect.

AFAIC I don't know why everyone puts up with the crap of the other
service providers in Canada. The company who pays attention will always
get my business, and I'll go out of my way to give it to them if I have to.

To relate a story about being shafted, Telus takes the cake. I was on a
plan with them that included several features (had the same plan for a
long time, and it suited me just fine)... one day I guess they decided
they didn't want to offer the plan any more and my services simply
stopped working... when I called to complain, they told me the plan
didn't include those "features"... of course right in front of me was
the document that said it did, but it didn't seem to matter to them.
The next day I signed up with Fido.

Ummm, You know, of course, that Rogers now owns Fido?
I got shafted on my last bill and am looking for another provider.
Watch your bills carefully folks ...
