I have been trying for a week now to order the Motorola razr from fido. Every time I call
to order (Daily) they say the will check, and then come back and say it is not available
"for me"" due to some technical problem, but it should be rectified by the next day. I am
starting to get pissed off at thenumber of different stories I am getting. Apparently some
people can order it, and some (including me) can't. Every day I have been told Ït is a
technical issue with our software, our technicians are working on it, please call back
tomorrow.
Well after seven days, I think I would be firing my technicians if they can't fix a web
based ordering program. Sounds like a load of BS to me. While this is the most common
explanation given, I have been told that it works fine for some customers, just not all. I
was even told at a Fido kiosk that they just don't have enough phones, and the ones they
do have are prioritized for those people paying full price at the retail outlets ie.
kiosks and stores.
Fido has been very poor at explaining the problem to me. They have offered nothing to help
aleviate the problem, in spite of the fact that my current phone, (siemens CF62) is
currently shutting off by itself regularly, and needs to be replaced ASAP.
Has anyone been able to purchase the Razr directly from Fido? If you have please post a
note as to where you are from.
Thanks for any input.
