Anyone have opinions about 3rd party extendable antenna instead of the
little nub on a T720?
I have terrible reception at home, and bought one to see if it would
help at all. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. No help at all.
Has anyone out there had a different experience? If so, what brand?
I bought mine from daydeal.com. Good service and pricing, though. I
don't think it's their fault.
Thanks!

Your phone should have a small rubber plug on the back, near the
antenna base. Remove that plug and you will find an SMA connector for
an external antenna. Perhaps with an adapter to the usual TNC plug,
you can connect a dual band antenna, such as a magnet mount car
antenna or a rubber ducky type.
If it becomes available and reliable, you may want to consider a
CellSocket docking station -- www.Cellsocket.com At present it's
vaporware, but the idea is great.
