Ok, does anyone know the specific size of resolution for this phone?
I've sent a few pics to my phone via text mail, some look fine, others
are distorted. Some pics that I take with the phone make GREAT
wallpapers, others are distorted. I've noticed if I zoom in while
taking pics, they come out distorted. If I try and resize a pic, WAY
    distorted.
Does anyone have any tips? I love this phone but can't figure out the
resolution issue, AND... I hate the battery life!
But other than that... great little phone!
    Thanks!
    Rowan

The internal camera has a resolution of 640 x 480 dots. the display 176 x
    220 dots.

That is the problem with any digital zoom (instead of an optical zoom)

Use 176 x 220, that fit best to the display, if you take pictures with the
camera use the best resolution 640 x 480 without the zoom. But these
pictures have always grey strips since the landscape format of the camera
will never fit to the portrait format of the display -- error-by-design
    from Motorola.

Battery life will be greatly diminished if two things happen:

    1. You use the camera a lot.
2 You are in an area where the phone does not get a signal. The phone
apparently goes into a higher power mode and hunts for a signal. In this
mode, the phone will die in probably 10-12 hours.

Hopefully Motorola will correct the latter defect in a future firmware
    release.
