I have two P280 GSM (T-Mobile Phones)
Until this morning, one was a spare.
When I turned the phone I was using on this morning, the LCD was completely
black.
I've removed the battery and waited a few minutes and replaced it. No
change.
I then moved the DSIM card to the new phone and all is well except -
The old phone which I suspect works fine and has a bad display has all of my
numbers stroed in it.
Where do I get dome sync software that will allow me to download the
contacts from phone A and then upload them to phone B?
Thanks,
Mac
If the obvious weren't so obscure, I'd be less confused.

Re: P280 Sync Software
Since this seems to be, for now, a simple and quick " Lets get my phone
numbers in a file so I can transfer to another phone" this software at this
site is FREE for the DEMO, connects easily with the basic P280 cable that
came with the phone . SNAG? always, its written in italian. No joke. But
theres a English translation help file that makes it easy to use. In fact,
its intuitive enough that you can probably do it without the help files.
Others will come on and recommend PST and others and they are far better.
But for this purpose, its easy fast and will get the job done. If you want
to get PST you can get from http://www.wapin.it/ludwig/ but the software has
a bit of a learning curve and not what I would want for your purpose. You
can also try Mobile Phone tools but I am not sure if it supports the P280.
But there ya go
Note if you should want to sell the broken P280 drop me a line at
[email protected] If you were thinking it would be nice to
have an extra charger or extra battery, I would be interested in phone alone
as well, either way is fine. Thanks
By the way, one thing I thought of. Since the old phone works, you could use
the good phone to provide you with the key press sequence to initiate the
transfer of the phones internal phonebook to the SIM card and then
transfer the SIM to the new phone and then copy from the SIM into the new
phones memory. Easy as pie. !!
