I have finally changed my machine and now can run MPT, however I cannot see
a way to get the SMS messages from my phone onto the PC (the main reason I
    wanted the tool.

Is this possible ? Or am I doing something wrong?
    TIA

Thank God you've got MPT working. I haven't had a wink of sleep for days
    ;-)

In MPT select email. The first time you do this it asks if you want it to
import your email accounts from OE (in my case). I said no because I don't
intend to use MPT as my email client. Next it dumps you into a three paned
window. Top left is a list of folders, top right is the contents of the
current folder and bottom is the contents of the current message. In my
setup at least, when I select 'inbox' I see a list of all sms messages in
the phone's inbox. The contents of the handset's outbox appear in a folder
    called 'finished transmissions'

Just can't wait for the driver for the Palm to V600, but will pull off my
    hot sms messages now :-)
    Cheers again for the help.
