I bought Datapilot after giving up on Truesync. It worked pretty well with
my 270C, other than messing up voice dialing (when you write back to the
phone, the wrong voice tags are attached).

It doe not work with the V60s or V60p, despite working with the other phones
in the V60 series. The hardware is recognized by windows (V60p modem), but
the actual application doesn't see the phone.

They sent me an updated dll that adds support for V60s and V60p, but it
    still doesn't work.

Hi Steven. I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not, but have you
checked to make sure that DataPilot didn't change your COM port setting
(in the DataPilot settings) on you?

I have DataPilot and was able to successfully write my contacts to my
phone...once. Then, the phone was not recognized by either Windows (XP) or
DataPilot the next time I tried (I do not have the phone installed as a
modem, so it was simply not recognizing the USB device). As it turns out,
DataPilot had switched the COM setting from Com 1 to COM 3. I switched it
back and was able to write to the phone again.

Also, make sure you have disabled any other sync software you might have
for a PDA, etc. when you're trying to use DataPilot.

Hopefully that will fix your problem. If not, good luck.

Nope, checked that. No big deal, since they're coming out with the next
version in a week or so.
