V600 Infra Red

Does anybody know why the v600 isn't provided with infra red =
capabilities?

Could be that the battery can't handle the phone now? I just picked up a
v400 the other day and find it's battery life unacceptable. I just
recharged the phone, (from "low Bat" beep) to full charge took four
hours. It's seems Motorola has no quick charge option for this phone.

"bluetooth."Infra-red is a "battery-sucker"(another receiver) too.

The charge rate is governed by the charger. The charger shipped with the
phone is a standard rate (slow) charger but a rapid charger is
available.
