My wife and I just got a couple of Moto v-600 phones. This morning, on both
the outer and main color screen, her unit had a large coffee cup icon in the
middle of the top info bar. Unfortunately, I didn't get any coffee with my
phone. What gives here? Is this some kind of 'Easter egg'? As usual, the
disinstruction manual has nothing about this feature, as far as I can tell.
TIA!

It means a Java application is active.

Check to see if a game is running on the phone. Go into the games menu and
if you are asked if you want to resume a game that will explain the coffee
cup. Games are written as Java applications and the logo for the Java
programming language is a coffee cup.
