v600 and laptop???????????

pls help, how do i connect my v600 with my laptop?
My laptop has an infrared port. all my previous nokias would just find the
laptop straight away but i cant
seem to get the bluetooth v600 to lock on.
Sorry if i sound a dim wit, thx 4 any help.

Infrared is nothing to do with Bluetooth.

You'd need a USB Bluetooth dongle for your laptop.

Well, the v600 doesn't have an infrared port so the IR on your laptop is
useless. If you want to connect using BT, you'll have to add a BT dongle
to your laptop's USB port. You can find them on ebay for about $10 +
shipping. Once you do that, and install Mobile Phone Tools (free at
www.motoclub.com) you'llbe in business.
