I'm wondering if anyone has had any joy in using a Palm Tungsten T
together with a Motorola V600 phone linked via Bluetooth to send and
    receive SMS messages?

I've managed to get the two to connect and allow me to use GPRS to check
WAP and web browsing plus Email.

But I've had absolutely no success in sending and receiving SMS.
Sending starts, the bluetooth connection seems to be established (the
phone signal goes to solid), the Palm reports sending message 1 of 1 and
then generates an error saying unable to connect to phone.

To be clear, I do enable Bluetooth on both the phone and Tungsten T :-)

I've Googled about but the few relevant pages don't offer much light in
    relation to SMS.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

    You can send sms
    goto connections on the palm
    Connect to local Network
    vai bluetooth
device is (your phone) may have to tap to find device.

Make sure you have disconnected the connection after email as the port will
still be open (and locked to the email application)

change the 1st part of the init string to E1V1+CMEE=1 , you cant recieve sms
as the not yet available driver is required, unless you are **** hot with
modem settings for the palm device.....
