V300 FIRMWARE

Hi all
Just got a replacemet V300 from Tmobil

How can i check the following

a) If it is unlocked
b) the firmware
As i have a problem selecting the from option when sending a sms , on
the last phone we had we could select this option but now it does not
dispay it

is there anyway we could download firmware from motorola
or is it a code we have to put in to make enable more hidden functions

What page on the Read the manual
there is no instructions on how to send a subject !!

Do a search in the forums, there is alot of info there, including where to
get firmware etc, try helping yourself since you are the one sure of what
you are looking for. You were pointed to a source of excellent info, did
you expect to have exactly what you are looking for searched and displayed
in links for your perusal?
