I have been used to Nokias before now and have been used to receiving a
delivery report when the person receives their message . I can not see how
to set up the facilty on V600 on Orange. Any idea PLEASE !!!!!

motorolas unfortunatly i dont think have this function of delivery rreports

Maybe Orange has removed the function in the firmware but Bouyqgues
Telecom (in France) has left it in the phone And it works perfectly...

Maybe Orange has removed the function in the firmware but Bouyqgues
Telecom (in France) has left it in the phone And it works perfectly...

I'm told that the V500/525 and the V600 are quite similar, in which case:
When you send the message, there is an option to turn on a status report
after you've added the names of the recipients. I've not found a way to
make the default to always get a report - yet..........

When you send the message, there is an option to turn on a status report
after you've added the names of the recipients. I've not found a way to
make the default to always get a report - yet..........

If it's not turned on by default you can turn it on with your USB cable.
You just need the software P2KMan and SeemEdit. You can find it at
www.motclub.com

receipts.
I've been told that o2 don't support it, which is why I dont get them, is
this true?

I had same problem with v500 but if you type RCT as the first line of the
message you will get a receipt just the same as with your Nokia.
This is the only way around the problem AFAIK.

Just before you send off your sms a screen comes up showing you the
destination, and the last item on that screen is an option to receive a
delivery report. Ii is set at "no" by default, so if you change it to "yes"
you get a delivery report.
