i have the v300. i was with tmobile but now i have cingular. i unlocked the phone so i could use it with cingular. it works but not all features. i can make and recieve calls, send and recieve calls. however i can not send or recieve picture messages or use the internet. i called both tmobile and cingular to help. what i have learned so far is my phone is configured for tmobile and it needs to be configured for cingular in order for me to use the internet portion of my v300. so far none of them want to help me with this problem. i would like to know how do i resolve this issue. what do i need to do to get my wireless internet to work with cingular service on my v300. do i need a flash or new firmware, flex or something else. please help. thank you in advance

Re: question about v300
You should sell the V300. It was manufactured as a triband phone without
850mhz. Cingular uses 850 in many parts of the country. Tmobile never uses
850. Even the antenna isn't set for 850. Just 900/1800/1900.
Sell the V300 and get a V400 or V600 with Cingular s/w. The only downside,
Cingular supplied ringtones aren't too good, but at least you can add your
own.

Re: question about v300
Depending where you buy your V300 will determine if it uses the 850
band.
Rogers in Canada sells V300s which work with 850.
