I have recieved a little 20 second clip of real music which appears in my
sounds menu, but I cannot apply it as a ringtone. Any idea why? Or anyone
    know how to do it?

I bought one 2 days ago, after owning a Nokia brick (5110) for about 4
years, I have to admit I *hate* the fscking thing, and wish i`d got
    another Nokia.

If you can, take a long hard look at one before you buy - the user
interface is a sack of crap as far as i`m concerned, and basic things
like text messaging and phone book entry (esp. if you need to use the
occasional symbol like "_" or lower case where it wants to use upper
case) is an absolute fscking nightmare IMO.

    Meanwhile, back on topic :-}

    - i`d guess you can use ANY bluetooth stuff, as that`s what its for...

I've just moved to a V600 from a 6310i and several other phones before that.
Used the 6310i for over 2 years and getting used to the V600 has taken a
couple of weeks but clear Bluetooth audio makes a pleasant change over the
6310i though that does have old firmware (4.07) that I can't be arsed
upgrading. I haven't yet looked at MPT and loading audio files.

I like text (SMS) entry on the V600 and hitting the relevant keys on the
bottom of the keypad make switching to/from numbers/mixed case/symbols a
doddle. The phone book could be better organised *but* given the way it's
intended to display numbers and photos, it's no great problem.

I haven't had any major problems with this V600 (on T- mob in UK) though I
can reliably make it play up.

Set an alarm and let it run. Change the alarm time but don't disable or
delete the alarm. The following day the external display lights up at the
former alarm's time and it's a battery out/in to put things right. No great
    issue.

Persevere with the V600, it's a nice 'phone and different to a Nokia,
    especially an antiquated 5110.

I`ve also managed to lock it up trying to get bluetooth to work...
