v300 not seen by software

i have tried to connect the v300 to my computer using pst 6.7 and datapilot
but neither program can see the phone. am i missing something. thanks

Simple things first,
Have you installed the USB drivers for the vxxx series phones?
Are you using a Motorola USB cable?

Many USB cables purchased on ebay have to been found to be defective

the usb cable worked with my v60i and v66 phones. is there something i need
to do special for the v300. datapilot appears to support the v300 since it
is in their list of phones. thanks

How did you install pst? check out www.freewebs.com/siteofhimself there is
a walkthrough on installing pst, maybe you missed something?

I have purchased 4 sets of the MPT from them and their great. They only
handle OEM products.
