    I have a T720. Is it possible to create a web page that contains a
    phone number that can be dialed from the browser? If so, how?

    Thanks!
    Brad.

    Re: T720 Dialing from browser

    I've managed to solve the problem. In case anyone else is interested,
    here's a sample that works the way I wanted:

    --------------------------------------------------
    <?xml version='1.0' ?>
    <!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC '-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN'
    'http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml'>
    <wml>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="max-age=0" />
    </head>
    <card>
    <a href="wtai://wp/mc;18005555555" title="John">John</a>
    <br/>
    <a href="wtai://wp/mc;18005551212" title="Jane">Jane</a>
    </card>
    </wml>
    --------------------------------------------------

    Why would you want to do this as opposed to just dialing yourself or using
    your ph book to dial it?

    Dialing yourself? One obvious reason is that you would have to remember the
    phone number!

    Phone book is stored in your phone or SIM card. With web based phone book is
    globally available. Security issues aside, it is very convenient to be able
    to use any browser capable phone to navigate to your own phonebook and just
    click on the name.

    The intent is that I will eventually publish my entire contacts list
    on a web page and have it available. I don't want to download all of
    my contacts to my phone, but I want them all available. Yes, I could
    just display the phone number on the web page, but why re-enter the
    number in order to place a call? :-)
