I have a USB data cable for my V220. I says 'charge enabled' on the box.
Is it supposed to recharge my battery? If it is supposed to why would mine
not be charging? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

You need to install the Moto software or else the USB port doesn't know to
deliver power, so it doesn't.

I do have Mobile Tools 3.11h installed. I'll try uninstalling and
reinstalling. Any other ideas?

Re: Charge with USB?
This is what it says on the box:
USB DATA CABLE
Charging enabled
Is this the right cable for data and charging?

USB always delivers power -- no software is required. It's up to the device
to tell the host controller how much power it needs. The USB stack then
delivers power if sufficient power is available. When the device needs more
power than the host controller can provide (which might be the problem here),
then a powered hub is needed.
