Hi,
I'm muddling my way through with my new v300 and can't find a couple of (what might be) simple functions.
*How can I put in a 'wait' in a phone number so that I can add an extension to be dialed after the required pause? (Tmo cust. serv. says it can't be done)
*How can I delete sounds that I made with Motomix (in phone, not with computer)?
*How can I delete photos from storage (in phone, not with computer)?
Tmo has been no help, and searches (in documentation, and online) haven't helped.
I'm hoping you can.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know about the V300, but try this:
Where you need the pause in the number, hit the menu key. A menu may
(it does on some other Motorola phones) pop up with a few choices like
Insert Pause and Insert Wait.

Re: New v300/Tmo User Questions
Thanks Al.
That doesn't appear in the documentation.
Especially daunting since their tech people didn't know either.
Anyone know how to do the deletions of pix and sounds?

Re: New v300/Tmo User Questions
On the v3 & v600 you scroll to the item hit the menu button and select
'Delete' so I think it may be the same for the v300.

Re: New v300/Tmo User Questions
Thanks, brobin.
So often, the simple answers seem obvious in retrospect, b ut the use of 'menu' in this way doesn't appear documented as well as it should. (especially for readers like me, apparently)
Thanks again for the help.

Re: New v300/Tmo User Questions
My pleasure. Their manuals aren't the best but after using Moto phones for
almost 20 years I've gotten used to how they do things. Just remember, the
Menu button is your friend!

Re: New v300/Tmo User Questions
Thanks again folks.
Now that I see where 'Menu' fits into the MOTO Mindset, many things are becoming clearer. Coming from other phones, this is a fundamental shift in approach, and thanks to you I begin to see the Moto light!
Cheers.
