Taking images off v300 handset

Hi

This might sound like a dumb question but here goes...is there any way
I can get the photographs off my Motorola v300 phone apart from
e-mail, mms etc? Would a data cable do the job? A friend of mine says
the cable's only good for putting stuff onto the phone.

Obtain Motorola Phone Tools and the USB cable will allow you to up and dn
load picts and ring tones.

(as well as editing seems and such to add things like video playback)
