Clearing phone number on a V60

I'd like to give my V60 (TDMA) to someone but i cannot clear my phone
number. Master reset and Master clear doesn't work. How can i clear it?

Your TDMA phone gets a number-change when it's programmed, over the air.

Even if you move your number to your new phone (even new carrier) your
old phone displays that number. The old phone cannot place or receive
calls until it gets activated, at which point the new number will be
loaded into the phone, over the air.

Master Reset changes the user-settings back to the factory defaults.

Master Clear clears the phone numbers, and all user "data" such as the
alarms and appointment book.

OK thanks for that info. One more question if you don't mind. How do you
clear the name (a personnlized name) that appears on the main screen?

The personalized name? The only name that appeared on my main screen
was the carrier's name...

Not sure about that one!
