Cingular no longer offering CSD service!? Are there no other options besides their data plans?

Last week I got signed up for CSD for 3.99 a month. Just called
Cingular.

hmm I don't know about any of this/too new to it to add a lot to it yet

however I know my wife just signed us up for approx $8 package-
up to 250 text messages, 50 pics, and 1mb dl / month
(she decided to give that a try)

thats on our cingular wireless plan for 2 phones, we both have v551s now
