Hello all,
I'm having a simple but annoying problem with mPT... and I imagine that
it's my ignorance over anything else. When I try to sync my phonebook
with my Outlook contacts, Outlook dumps ALL of my contacts onto my
phone. I would like to only transfer contacts with phone numbers, but
I end up with a hundred email addresses. I know that mPT can
differentiate between the two (as seen in the 'type' field). I also
see that it is possible to do some filtering. I just can't figure out
how to configure the options to filter out my contacts that only have
an email address. I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Check out Contacts Synchronizer which I think could be the solution to your problem.

Re: Mobile Phone Tools Sync
You can copy individual files from your Outlook Express address book and paste them into a
new blank "standalone" Outlook Express address book then import THAT into mPT but unless
you find some way of grouping the ones you want in Outlook Express before you copy it
could take time...
(type "wab.exe /new" with no quotes in the Start/Run box to make a new .wab address book
file and name it something new (.wab will be appended. ))
It also works for a non-main identity's address book.

Re: Mobile Phone Tools Sync
Ah - just sort your address book by phone number heading and you can copy just that block
with numbers- easier than I thought!
(When pasting I think you have to continually click OK for each contact)
