Phone Tools Help Please

Got my dongle today and set it up on my pc with windows xp no problem,
paired it with the phone e550 again no problem but now when i come to put
mobile phone tools on ver 3.11 i cant seem to get phone tools to work, why
can someone help me please set it up

do i need to install other software or remove software please help at the
moment all i have is something called XTNDConnect that came with the dongle

First, make sure you update to the latest version of MPT which was 3.19e
last time looked. Just click "Live Update" to that and it will be
automatic. You don't need to run XTNDConnect to use MPT. Instead, just
select Bluetooth as your connection method when MPT starts up.
If you want to load games you cannot do so with MPT. Instead, consider
replacing XTND with My Bluetooth Places from Widcomm. Instructions are

Ok bruce great i will read this link but i cannot get mpt to see my phone at
all is this because i am running xtndconnect and if so shall i uninstall
xtndconnect then, sorry to ask again

Probably you should uninstall XTND and then reboot. Then start your PC
again and plug in the dongle. Let me know what happens at that point &
if still no joy I'll see what else might be the problem.

I don't think it matters. I already had MPT installed for awhile before
adding the Widcomm stuff. If you just want to use MPT you don't even
need the Widcomm program as the MS driver will work with MPT just fine.
But if you want to install games with jumping through hoops, the Widcomm
s/w is the way to go.

Cheers bruce one more qwuestion, using widcomm only happy with that but it
seems to have installed and extra network connection that appears in my sys
trayhow do i uninstalll that
