Hi:

Made the mistake of taking a v180 with my At&T wireless service. LCD screen
went bad after 2 months. Now they imply that its my fault, caused by heat
or cold. That doesn't seem likely since the screen was OK and on my belt.
Took my pants off, turned off the v180, laid them on a chair and went to
sleep. Woke up, turned the unit on and there was a big purple splotch on
the screen. Warranty service tells me I exposed the unit to heat or cold
and its probably my fault and they will probably charge me.

Got a replacement. That units screen went out in two days.

Next I have trouble with AT&T warranty service center. Automated answering
system doesn't seem to understand my accent...English (American). Service
personnel at end of phone aren't particularly swift either. Finally just
hung up on rep without resolving problem.

I'm Really pissed off.
